A barn turned retreat
In the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, in a small hamlet at 750 m altitude, this former barn has been completely renovated with a great deal of heart.
The gîte occupies the ground floor of Magali and Cindy’s house, fully independent. It sleeps up to 6 in a rustic, cocooning and cosy setting: an unusual, one-of-a-kind place, 3 km from the village.
Here, you slow down. No screens, but a well-stocked library (with English books), games for young and old, a radio, a Bluetooth speaker, and the lovely flame of the pellet stove when winter drops by.

By day: one big living room
A large living room welcomes you as soon as you arrive: a sitting corner, a dining corner and a kitchen corner, under real beams and facing the stone. The pellet stove warms the whole room and brings comfort and calm in the depths of winter.
By night: three double beds
A “master” bedroom with a double bed (140) and an adjoining bathroom with a walk-in shower. And for the comfort of young and old alike, a bunk-bed hut: two stacked double beds (140) in a wooden alcove. A separate washroom (sink and WC) completes the sleeping area.

Outside: river, forests and cliffs
The garden, not adjoining, is 50 metres from the gîte, inside the hamlet, on the banks of the Vernaison: a green haven to relax in, surrounded by nature. Some hikes start right from the gîte.
And to send lovely postcards from your stay, the La Poste mailbox is on the front of the house.

“Set in a very old stone house, it stays pleasantly cool even in the hottest summer months. […] A little stream runs through the owner’s garden: ideal for cooling your legs after a hike! […] Highly recommended, especially for hikers!”
